“Don Stevenson started walking after nearly 30 years of working for Dairygold Dairy, and decided walking to benefit charities would be a good way to get both exercise and to help others. 

Stevenson was just starting to pen his first book as a newly retired man. Stevenson thought in order to keep his mind fresh, he ought to get out and make a routine of walking more frequently.
