Phaware has reached the attention of one of the most important stages of New York City. The global network phaware has recently hosted an event called Breathless On Broadway that gathered several Broadway popular performers to help raise awareness about pulmonary hypertension (PH). This video shows what happened at the event, which took place on June 6 at Sardi’s Restaurant in NYC.

#phaware is always working for the PH community. Read more about other initiatives from this organization here.

Breathless on Broadway features Max Von Essen from Evita, Dance of the Vampires, Jesus Christ Superstar, etc, Michael Lanning from Bonnie & Clyde, Civil War, Giuseppe Bausillo from Cats, Aladdin, Newsies, Billy Elliot, Liv Rand, and Zachary Sayle from Newsies Nat’l Tour. These are just some of the well-known names that will be helping the phaware global association raise awareness for PH, as previously reported by Pulmonary Hypertension News.

The event included a silent auction and the proceeds were granted to phaware, a nonprofit PH advocacy and education group focused on raising global awareness of PH. The second edition of the annual event was also dedicated to honoring Chloë Rand, a “PH warrior” who lost her life to the disease shortly before her 14th birthday, and who was passionate about music to communicate, regardless of her daily struggle to breathe. Read the full interview with the Rand Family here.
