  Atrial Septostomy

  Two months prior to my son’s transplant he had an Atrial Septostomy to help stabilize and keep him strong for transplant. This took place in 2014 and it was not a common procedure at that time so I am curious if that has changed. Has anyone else had this surgery or had it offered to them?
