Cullen has been in the hospital
Hey y’all, I wanted to share a quick update about Cullen and ask for your positive thoughts and prayers. Many of you already follow Cullen and @Colleen, so you’ll want to hear this.
Colleen told me that Cullen was admitted to the hospital on Monday after being unwell all weekend. While it’s not COVID, the tests haven’t given any clear answers. Thankfully, with antibiotics and IV fluids, he’s feeling much better. He stayed in the hospital last night, and Colleen shared that he will be discharged later today. They’re working to get a few more tests done before he leaves.
Cullen has been thriving at college, and I hope this is just a temporary setback so he can return to feeling like himself, his studies, and campus life. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers—they would surely appreciate the love and support.
And, @Colleen, remember to take care of yourself, too. We’ll all be here for you when you have time to rest and recharge.

Hi @Colleen , I know you had another busy day planned today. But when you have time, we would love to hear how Cullen feels. I hope you made it home last night and you both could rest well. Did any of his tests show anything at all?
Maybe it was a bug that many seem to be spreading around lately. Did the IV fluids and antibiotics continue to help him feel better?

@Colleen juse checked in on the forum to learn about Cullen. You are both in our prayers 🙏 and in our hearts 💕. Cullen, I know you are strong and we are so encouraged that you did go into the hospital and git on antibiotics and fluids right away. Please stay strong and do what you need to do to get your energy and back to the books and … your college life!
Colleen, Jen’s words of wisdom is right on target – you need to nurture yourself, eat healthy and get rest too.

Cullen is out of the hospital and feeling better, thankfully. @Colleen has been caring for her family nonstop. Poor girl, she was at the ER Friday with her dad, and he is home now. But she could use extra love, hugs, positive thoughts, and prayers as her plate overflowed.
Unfortunately, her father’s dementia is progressing, and she’s running on fumes while trying to care for him. Colleen, my dear friend, many of us here love and support you. Self-care isn’t on your list, and I’m worried about you. I hope and pray that the appointments this week go well, and please don’t hesitate to lean on us. We all feel so blessed to have your support.🙏

Hi everyone, I’m sorry for not being available these past few weeks. As @jen-cueva mentioned, Cullen was hospitalized for a few days. He recovered quickly and is doing well. My concern for Cullen wasn’t the only thing keeping me away. My parents, especially my dad, have been on a decline. I’ve been busy (overwhelmed) seeking assistance in caring for him and my mom at home. I’ve also been grieving the death of my sister-in-law after a 5-year battle with Cancer. I wish I could say 2025 has been wonderful so far, but I would be lying. Thank you, Jen for caring for all the wonderful people here on your own. We love and appreciate you!

Colleen, it’s wonderful that Cullen is doing better now. I’m so sorry you lost your sister-in-law; cancer is a horrible disease. I pray that you find some help for caring for your parents so that you can give yourself the rest and self care you so desperately need.

Thank you @V.R. Peterson and @jen-cueva . My SIL fought hard for 5 years but was ready when the time came. She knew she gave it everything she had, while remaining the sweet and loving person she had always been, and her faith only grew stronger. That memory of her will always be an inspiration to me.
@V.R. Peterson how have you been? I feel like I haven’t heard an update from you in a while.

Hi @Colleen , I love the beautiful inspiration you share about your late SIL! What a lovely soul she must have been. It sounds like she was also at peace knowing she fought that cancer diligently for years as she held on to her family and faith! ❤

Hi @Colleen , you’ve had so much on your plate nonstop. I’m sorry that you continue to have these struggles, and I hate to hear of your dad’s decline. As I continue to keep you in my heart and prayers, I’m hopeful you’ll get some help ASAP!

@Colleen Please Colleen, no apologies, your plate has been overwhelming. Just know take all the time you need. Injust pray 🙏 you find some assistance in caring for your dad very soon. I also pray you find some time for you to be able to re-energise, re-ground yourself and breath!
