This week has been somewhat challenging for me. It’s more of my chronic kidney disease(CKD) and a little PH and labs off. I think, at times, my body doesn’t like me very well. Do you ever feel like that?

I’m grateful that I am beginning to see a slight improvement today, so I am taking it. I’m guilty of hurting the ones closest to me at times like that, especially when I’m also experiencing a lack of sleep. They don’t deserve this, and I shouldn’t add this stress to them when I become overwhelmed. But I do, at times. Yesterday was one of those days.

But thankfully, last night, I spent almost my usual time there. My loved ones know I love and appreciate them through every challenge. But I came across this reminder and thoughts I would share with y’all, too.

Reminder for anyone who needs this:

Enjoy your weekend, my PHriends. 💜

Hey there sweet friend, I am so sorry you were having a tough time and your body seemed to raise more issues with all the complications you are dealing with.

It is so hard some times when you feel your body is against you and you feel terrible. Whenever this happens to me I too seem to turn on the ones we love and care shout the most. I tend to withdraw and snap at Dick. I know it’s not fair to him he us so caring and so patient with me then I feel the guilt!

The thing about feeling guilty puts me further inward. Guilt gets me no where, it does not do anything positive. I finally apologize to Dick for being short with him and wrap my self around him and move away from guilt into finding something positive – find something to laugh about with him.

We all are just human and sometimes we need a push to get over it … whatever the “it” is.

I am sending so much love ❤️ and positive energy and many warm hugs 🤗 for you Jen!! Love you lots.

Don’t feel like the “Lone Ranger”.😉 I Think we all have bad times now and then. There have been lots of times I get on ME’s nerves. So far she hasn’t smacked me one……but I have deserved it. 😇

Your saying is correct……don’t compare yourself to healthy people. As I have mentioned in the past, compare yourself to those less fortunate.

Ok…… got another story. One of our best friends grandson woke up one morning when he was 10 and couldn’t walk…..he couldn’t feel anything from his waist down……had a blood-clot in his spine. He went through all kinds of hospitals and therapy for several years. Now he is 17, in a wheelchair, his legs still don’t work. He is more active than most kids. Goes hunting fishing and plays all kinds of spots through Challenge Alaska. He also has a pickup with hand controls that he drives all over. He even has a job working for a knife maker. He told a friend he doesn’t care if he ever walks again as he is able to do anything he wants. Not sure how he keeps such a positive attitude……but he does.
