I would say that self monitoring symptoms is so important. I find it helpful to check in with my body throughout the day. I like to keep a journal of how I’m feeling to see if I notice any patterns of change. For example, around my period I am feeling more short of breath, swollen , and have increased fatigue. Self monitoring and advocating for yourself by calling your doctor to alert them of any new or very bothersome symptoms is so important ! It’s also crucial to bring awareness and pay attention to what our bodies are telling us even if it’s scary.

Does anyone else track their symptoms and check in with their body through the day ? Do you use a journal to help bring awareness to how you are feeling? Do you monitor your symptoms with equipment like a pulse ox or blood pressure cuff?
