    Hi @colleensteele, I think that with my extended family, they are not as understanding and educated enough about PH. I realize that no one will understand until they are in our shoes. But lack of knowledge and patience I feel is needed more in most families that I have known. I know for you; this does not seem to be the issue, which is excellent!

    I think that with doctors, some do not understand how everyone is not the same, and PH cannot be treated that way. Does this make sense? Would anyone else agree on this?

    @jenc I agree. Doctors need to be mindful that patients aren’t all the same – not medically or emotionally. They really need to look at the full picture. Cullen has been fortunate that his PH and transplant team has always done that but I have known people who really struggled to get doctors to understand this need.
