So, so, so glad to read that I’m not the only one just responding with the coverall of “hanging in there” instead of giving any reply of substance. I feel as if I ought to have it tattooed on my forehead. And don’t get me wrong, it’s nice of people to ask … but they don’t want to know the truth any more than I want to say it. Saying the truth makes it too real and kind of stops me in my tracks when I really want and NEED to go on with my day. Saying the truth makes me feel as if I’m a drama seeker or want pitied. I am not. I do not.

    • Hi Robin,
I can definitely relate to what you’re saying here. It’s like you are both trying to convince the other person as well as convince yourself. Just know that when our bodies tell us that we need a break then we really do need to listen! I have learned that the hard way by not listening and just ignoring my warning signs and “pushing through” . I’m laughing at the tattoo on the forehead part. I should get a tattoo of a monkey swinging from a tree with one hand to represent “hanging in there” hahahah!
