If you’re living with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) or caring for a loved one with PAH, we’d like to bring your individual voices and experiences to the forefront during Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month—and every month.

This month of dedicated recognition helps give voice to the PH community, including those living with PAH, which is one of five groups the World Health Organization uses to classify the overarching disease of PH.

Given how rare the condition, you may face isolation and uncertainty navigating your ongoing journey. We launched the Breathe In, Speak Out About PAH (BISO) campaign with your unique needs in mind. The content is informed and created by and for those living with the disease. We’re spotlighting your voices with videos, live discussions, and content to help demystify everyday experiences and build a community on Facebook and Instagram.

We recognize that everyone has a story to tell about their experiences with PAH, and that stories have the power to change lives. The BISO campaign calls for people living with PAH to encourage one another to use their voices and share their stories. The hope is that hearing from and interacting with each other can empower people to find connection and comfort on a deep level based on related experiences.

We invite you to join the growing movement with us on Breathe In, Speak Out About PAH on Facebook and Instagram. Together, we can continue our mission of giving a voice to the PAH community to help provide patients with information, communication and support.

Your voices matter.
