  SOX17 Gene May Contribute to PAH with Congenital Heart Disease

  SOX17 may be a risk gene that contributes to pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) associated with congenital heart disease (CHD), as well as to idiopathic and/or familial PAH, according to researchers.

  Read more about this study indicating that rare mutations in the SOX17 gene may be the cause of up to 3% of cases of PAH with congenital heart disease.
