And back from another hospitalization. Not planned hospitalization.

Yesterday morning I went to Olomouc for control of my PAH and for change of dressing of my PICC after my holiday in the Fantasy festival. (In Olomouc is Centre for PH, one of three in the Czech republic).

Specialist on PICC in Olomouc was totally horrified, what nurse in Ostrava used for dressing of my PICC. Nurse in Ostrava (also supposedly specialist on PICC) did literally the opposite what she should have done and there was BIG danger of sepsis, big danger, that they would have to take out my PICC from my left hand and insert new PICC into my right hand.

I had already irritated skin before and nurse in Ostrava instead of dry dressing used greasy tulle!

I had to stay in the hospital, so they would see, how it will look after 24 hours.

Specialist in Olomouc NEVER SAW ANYTHING SO BAD IN HER WHOLE CARREER and didn´t understand, how nurse in Ostrava could do something like that! Nurse in Ostrava is obviously stupid fucking idiot !!!

FYI: Olomouc is 100 kilometers from where I live, Ostrava is 10 kilometers from where I live. So I went to Ostrava for regular change of dressing and to Olomouc I go for regular control of PAH.

On monday 16th July I have to go back to Olomouc for control of PICC.

    Martina,
I am so sorry you are having this experience. It always makes me so nervous and really question some in the medical profession when I have bad experiences. I have heard doctors refer to past specialists saying things like ‘this should have been done instead” etc and I HATE hearing that because it gives me someone to place blame on. Holding onto that feeling of negative experiences really has had an impact on my anxiety for sure. I hope that this becomes more of a positive experience and that you can gain some trust back in the nurses and doctors who are caring for you at this hospital. Wishing you the best while you are figuring this out!
