Anyone with a chronic illness will testify that they spend a lot of time in the doctor’s office having blood work done. Which means getting pricked with a lot of needles, which can sometimes take two or three (or more) attempts to find a compliant vein.

The VeinViewer is an amazing device that can help find your veins with greater ease, which will hopefully make blood work and other tests less painful for patients. Click here to read more.

Are you someone who would benefit from using the VeinViewer? Have you talked about it with your healthcare team?

My veins were trashed after weeks on peripheral IV antibiotics post-transplant. The VeinViewer is cool, but what really worked for me to get IV’s in was an ultrasound machine that can really see the diameter of veins deep beneath the skin. It’s so cool!
