Dealing With Pharmacy Delays
Especially on the pediatric side of PH, I’ve heard parents complain of on-going issues with pharmacies not getting orders out in time. It sounds like this is caused by pharmacy issues and mistakes. Have you experience problems getting your medication on time and if so, how did you handle the situation?

Hi Colleen,
Sometimes I experience this when the pharmacy that I get my medication from doesn’t have enough supply of the medication. When it is put through as “urgent” or when the doctor calls the pharmacy themselves, then they can request it immediately. In this case the pharmacy would usually have to find one close by that DOES have it and I usually just drive to pick it up, or they would have to have a pharmacy ship it to my local one depending on how far away it is.
