New Year check-ins
Posted by jen-cueva on January 9, 2025 at 3:29 pmAs we enter the new year, many of us are caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. This time can be particularly overwhelming for those of us with PH and our caregivers.
We want to check in and see how you’re doing. Do you have any updates to share? Whether it’s a tiny victory or a concern, we’re here to support you.

Jen, I have a big one to celebrate this month, actually 2 if you count my birthday. More exciting for me is that I will have my 5-Year anniversary from my PET surgery for CTEPH at the end of this month! Yay, me!

Folks, I have one more new year’s goodie! I have switched from Coumadin to Eliquis! It’s been a month now and no reactions of any sort. But it is so nice not to have those regular blood checks and not to have to watch my diet for leafy greens! I feel almost cured (even though I know I’m not)!

Hi @Terese Tuohey , wow, keep those wins coming, my dear PHriend! I know it must be another great milestone to switch to Eliquis, and it is so much more convenient. I’ve had times I could relate to your feeling, “almost like you are cured,” but not.
With each tiny victory, we move forward, and that’s important for those managing PH. Thanks for sharing. We hope to hear more about your birthday and adventures soon. Stay well and stay safe. 🤗

Hi everyone, I’m titrating up on Remodulin weekly since changing over to IV delivery. Night and day difference from the subcutaneous delivery method. I have aches etc and don’t feel well but that will change when I level off. I started Winrevair today. Hopefully things are looking up.
