This must be a very difficult task. I know that with my Grandma having DEmentia, that alone is tough. ( She does not have PH, other health issues, though) Adding Dementia to PH cannot be easy. I would suggest that caregivers take time for themselves.

I know that for me, my Grandma not knowing me or even where she is at at times is very hard to digest. I try to remind myself that she has no control over her mind. Keeping things routine as not to confuse her anymore is something that we try to do. We also try to find things to keep her hands busy. Simple games and things that she may be able to do. Her hands stay busy. I have seen dolls and blankets that can help. I may get her one for her birthday in November. They are similar to a kid toy with snaps, zippers, etc. but made for Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.
