• Do You Have a Focus Word for the New Year?

Posted by jen-cueva on January 8, 2021 at 11:33 am

Instead of making New Year’s resolutions, many have started to focus more on a “word” of the year. I came across this article that offers an extremely long word list.

For me, I do not make resolutions. But, balance is a huge one and also, improvement. I hope to improve my writing skills.

Using this list, or your own, what would you choose to focus more on this year? Let’s talk about this.

    What a great idea.

I have chosen the work Committed.
I am committed to a lot of things.
But some of the most important ones are:
I am committed to making my health a priority.
I am committed to not taking things for granted.
I am committed to finding the positive as often as I can.
I am committed to waking up looking forward to the day.
I am committed to make sure my family knows how much I love them, the way that they have shown me how much they love me.

I would love to hear others word of the year.

Hi @s-steppins, I love your choice of words. I appreciate the breakdown of how you plan to focus on the word “committed” through the new year! I love it!

Of these, which one would you say will be a struggle for you if any?
