How is your week going?
I have been negligent in checking in on our weekly wins. How is everyone doing? Do you have any wins from the past few weeks that you would like to share?
This week, I have been on a rollercoaster ride, but for the most part, I enjoyed it! Monday was “World PH Day” and I spent it at the hospital with Cullen. It was a routine heart transplant appointment with typical tests such as labs and ECHO. Knock on wood, he continues to be well, and his medical team is happy. I am forever grateful to his organ donor but I will never forget that PH was the reason Cullen needed a transplant.
For our new members who don’t know, my husband passed away 2 years ago and Tuesday was our 30th wedding anniversary. That was an emotional day but the wins were the little signs I felt Brian was sending me to let me know he is still with me.
Cullen is celebrating another big win this week. He has completed his Junior year of college. I help clear his dorm out tomorrow and bring him home for the summer. My heart is so happy for him!
