    Hi everyone,

I’m the newest columnist on PHNews. I find myself writing about the grief of loss of identity. I lost the person I once was due to PH and heart failure. I often feel as though I’m not enough, like I’m half the person I used to be.

Although I’m healthier than I have been in recent years, as far as my PH and heart are concerned. I’m trying to get out and do more, but I’m having problems leaving the house. I’m worried about the what-ifs that accompany PH. I have exercise-induced PH, so I am often afraid to go out alone. I need to get over this.

There is so much strength in the PH community!

I would like to talk to fellow PHers here more often, and I hope to do that through the forums, but I’m not the best at “checkiing in” on forums in a timely fashion. I’m going to college, do a great deal in advocacy, and I have a child in high school. I stay pretty busy.

So, I’ve been thinking about starting an online PH group. I’d like to know if anyone here would be interested in joining a monthly support group. Please share your thoughts.
