Pulmonary Hypertension: Cal, Stem Cell Patient’s Story
Meet Cal. He’s a little boy who loves run with his friends, play hockey and have fun just like any other boy. He was diagnosed with asthma by four different doctors until he finally got the right diagnosis: Cal had Pulmonary Hypertension. As a treatment for his PH, Cal had his own stem cells taken from his blood and activated; a few months later, those same cells were injected into his lungs.
