According to Medical News Today, as per the estimated data, almost 1 in 500 infants are born with a pulmonary hypertension — a very risky and congenital heart disease, and affect the lungs too. Children with pulmonary hypertension typically have blockages in their pulmonary arteries, making it harder for the heart’s right ventricle to pump blood through the lungs.
