Exercise is crucial for people with pulmonary hypertension to help slow down the decline of lung function and to maintain overall health, but over the holidays it can be difficult to find the time. With this in mind, we’ve put together a list of tips to help you find time to exercise throughout the holiday season based on information from prevention.com.
Exercise First Thing
Make it the first thing on your to-do list for the day. Whether you exercise before or after breakfast is up to you, but if you do it first thing in the morning it’s a chore out of the way, leaving the rest of the day free to celebrate the festivities.
If you can’t go outside to exercise, you can try some breathing exercises at home to make your lungs stronger. Find them here.
