World Pulmonary Hypertension Day is on May 5. All around the world, people will be hosting events to raise awareness of the disease and funds for vital research into more effective treatments for PH.

One young girl is definitely doing her bit for the cause: Mia Berden is hosting a “Fear the Pie” event to raise money for PHA Canada. Ten-year-old Mia was recently diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension (PH) and the brave youngster wants to do all she can to help end the disease. With the help of her family, she created this funny video to inspire others to do the same.
