Living with a chronic lung disease is difficult and challenging. This animated video from Shari Exonerative shows what life is actually like for a young female pulmonary hypertension patient compared to what people may perceive her life to be like.
Like many chronic illnesses, pulmonary hypertension is not always visible and often the only obvious sign that a patient has PH is an oxygen tank (if they need to carry one around with them). Life with a severe heart and lung disease is difficult, and the animation shows the struggles and challenges that patients experience with the disease, including managing the disease and the physical and emotional side effects of the drugs and therapies they have to take.
