Meet Bella.

As you’ll see in this Texas Children’s Hospital video from 2016, Bella is a lively and bubbly 4-year-old who also happens to have had a double lung transplant.

Bella was diagnosed with a rare genetic lung disease at just 2 months old and underwent a double lung transplant at 6 months old. She has gone from being critically ill to leading a normal life: running, jumping, attending pre-school and charming everyone she meets.
