30 Days of PH: What It’s Like to Have PH in Australia
We’re on day 4th of our awareness campaign and it’s Terry Meehan’s turn: Terry knows about Pulmonary Hypertension, the numbers of this disease in his country, Australia, and the very few specialists that treat it. In fact, the specialist who diagnosed him was also a cardiologist! Yet, despite the very few clinics and rare specialist treatment, Terry has found the care and expertise he’s received outstanding. There are some support organizations, but for Terry, he is his closest confidant. He believes in smiling to strangers because, in his own words “might shock them over there, but it will make you feel good.”Thanks for sharing your thoughts Terry!
Now back to our PH Community. Do you identify with Terry’s words?
Terry’s story is on our Instagram! Go check it out and do give us a follow so you don’t miss out on any #30DaysofPH stories. We have so many more stories to discover!
