Happy April, everyone! 🌷 As we leap into April, I’m curious – how packed is your medical calendar this month? Do you have any appointments or procedures you’d like us to support you through?

I’m aiming to reduce my medical appointments this month. I’m looking forward to spending more time outdoors, soaking in the vibrant colors of spring. And oh, that sunshine after the rain? I can’t wait for it to make an appearance! How about you?

Hey, y’all, we are already midway through the month. I know most of us have some appointments scheduled. So, let’s share and support one another.

I have labs again next week and a follow-up with my PH team. Otherwise, I only have those and my therapy sessions.

What about you? What can we support you on as we push through April?

Hi, @Carol Volckmann. This is just a simple note to say we are sending you extra positive thoughts and prayers today. Hopefully, you will find out more about transitioning to Winrevair. Please come and let us know how things go. 💜🙏

This morning, I had a therapy appointment. But this time, she asked my daughter to join us. I’m unsure of why and a tad nervous, but I know it will go well. I don’t like not having control. Hehe.

How are everyone’s appointments going this month? We are sliding into May tomorrow.🌞

I went to see my pulmonologist and to have more tests run last week. She is trying to find the cause of my need for high oxygen. She believes it caused my PH. All of the tests have been negative. The next step is to have a surgical lung biopsy. Any one ever have this? They said I would be high risk due to my oxygen levels and PH. This procedure may or may not give us the answer as to my breathing problem. It may lead to a lung transplant, but I’m only going to concentrate on the biopsy for now. Too much for my brain to handle.

Wow, @Debbie Moore, that’s a big chunk of information to overwhelm anyone. I hate that you are having a lung biopsy, and I know we are here for you. I have not had a lung biopsy. But I’ll search and maybe ask this in another topic and tag you.

Your pulmonologist is a PH specialist, correct? It’s so frustrating that she thinks it’s PH but tests are all negative. Have they done an exercise RHC or exercise echo? Do you need this high oxygen rate with exercise or 24/7? My apologies my brain doesn’t hold much information.

I can see how this would be risky when you already require high oxygen levels. And I agree let’s focus on the biopsy now and transplant later, if that’s even a needed discussion.

You are in my thoughts and prayers sweet PHriend. How is your husband supporting you through this? Do y’all continue working on your marriage?

Try and enjoy your weekend, Debbie! 🤗
