  • How do you spend your rest days?

    Rest is essential for managing PH, but sitting still can be challenging. Rest looks different for everyone. For me, rest days mean taking it easy and doing little. This could involve resting my mind, body, or both.

    I avoid scheduling new work projects and calls to insurance, doctors, or pharmacies. Even though these tasks can be done while sitting, my rest days often help with both physical recovery and mental health.

    Most importantly, it’s crucial not to set high expectations and to give ourselves grace.

    No time to rest might not be able to do it tomorrow except of course those things you dread doing like ironing or weeding the garden or washing the windows or paying the bills or….

      Wow, @Terry, if you are doing all of those honey-do chores, I need to borrow you, Mate! 😉
      I’m sure your loveley wife has you on a tight rope. I’ll rest while I let you train Manny, my hubby at all of those “honey-dos”- but if he works too much, he thinks it’s “Beer-thirty” after a few chores. Hehe.
