  • Parents, it’s OK to let your PH kid play

Our PH News team published an article that I thought many of you PH parents would enjoy reading. Our lovely co-moderator, @Colleen  commented before she wanted Cullen to play and be as active as possible despite PH.

At the recent PHA Conference, we enjoyed a fun night of dancing after the fashion show. Six kids were running around, which was both amusing and heartwarming. I spoke with an outstanding pediatric nurse caring for several kids with IV pumps. While she expressed concern like a protective mama bear, she also noted it was joyful, especially after seeing those kids at their sickest.

This article reminded me of that joyful night. Would you mind reading it and telling me your thoughts, especially as you care for a kid with PH? You can read the article using the link below.

Children with PH say they can stay active if exercise is made fun, social

I love this message! It’s so important for our kids to play and be active, even with PH. That night at the PHA Conference sounds amazing! It’s heartwarming to see kids enjoying themselves despite their challenges.

Hi @derek775 , yes, that night was phenomenal. I have always been inspired and motivated to keep PHighting and watch our tiniest PH warriors. These kids are so resilient, and I always enjoy watching them play and hearing them laugh and act like any other child.
