Are you currently in the process of being listed for an organ transplant, in the transplant process, or have already received an organ transplant? One of the most common issues patients encounter throughout their transplant journey is the cost of medication.

Here is a resource that can compare medication prices and find verified assistance programs all in one place. This website starts by asking you simple questions, such as who is looking to receive help, and whether you are a pre- or post-transplant patient or a caregiver. It then looks at the type of transplant patient you are, along with asking for a general idea of what insurance or lack of insurance you may currently have. This is done so that it can get a better idea of what medications you are in need of while getting a general idea of what programs and assistance you may qualify for.

As someone who is almost 12 years post-transplant, I have found this website to be amazing in multiple ways, in both providing information on ways to save money, but it can also be a good way to see what assistance programs cover what medications.

For those of you undergoing the transplant process, what programs have you found the most beneficial, whether it’s regarding helping pay for medication or just undergoing the transplant process in general?
