  Misdiagnosis In Children

  Welcome to our new Sub-Forum, Pediatric PH!

  We will start with a topic that is unfortunately a common experience in children. Was your child misdiagnosed with another condition(s) before pulmonary hypertension. If so, how long did they go misdiagnosed and with what? How was the diagnosis of PH finally reached?

  My son became symptomatic at age 6 but wasn’t diagnosed until he was 8. During that time it was suggested that he had croup, asthma and anxiety. Does this sound familiar to you?
