  Vacation with Oxygen

  Hey all!
  I have been on a weekend trip with oxygen. I brought my oxygen concentrator and about 10 oxygen tanks with me. Tomorrow, I leave for a cruise. I don’t have a POC with me because the one that was offered doesn’t have a high enough liter flow for continuous oxygen. Because of that, I will be boarding a cruise tomorrow with 24 oxygen tanks !

  I have my medical documents prepared including diagnosis information and medical need for oxygen clearly stated by my doctors. I have all medications, breathing treatments, and bipap machine. I know I am well prepared but this is the first time I will be away for a full week without my home charger in case I was to run out of oxygen. (The cruise didn’t allow the home filler system)

  Has anyone on oxygen ever been on a cruise? Do you have any last minute advice to give to me or anyone traveling with oxygen? What was the hardest part about traveling with oxygen?
