Educational Forum “PHA On the Road” Reaches San Diego Saturday
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) is hosting their annual educational event “PHA On The Road,” a free educational forum to help both pulmonary hypertension (PH) patients and their families and caregivers fight the rare lung disease, which affects blood pressure in the lungs, and with no treatment has a survivability of only 2.8 years. The forum will be traveling to San Diego on Saturday, September 20th.
The event consists of a free, full-day regional educational forum dedicated to delivering instruction and support to patients, families, caregivers, as well as medical professionals in locations close to their homes. During the day, the PHA will offer interactive presentations, education sessions, and networking opportunities with other patients, caregivers, and medical professionals.

The PHA has been dedicated to both supporting research for pulmonary hypertension and finding ways to prevent the disease by engaging and working in collaboration with the community through education, research, and advocacy and awareness programs such as PHA On the Road.
