Even though pulmonary hypertension (PH) can be a devastating condition that can steal a great part of the normal and routine life of PH patients, there are still things that people who live with this condition can do to keep moving and living life. Exercise is always recommended in a moderate form. However, since pulmonary hypertension causes extreme shortness of breath, sometimes exercise may seem impossible to do.
With that being said, what could be a good exercise choice that is safe and efficient for patients at the same time? Yoga!
Yoga is an exercise that works every muscle in the body, with soft and simple movements, improving mobility and helping patients to breathe better.
