Terrence J. Raises Awareness for Pulmonary Hypertension Association

In this video from the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, celebrity ambassador for the organization, actor and TV host, Terrence J., uses his fame to help promote awareness of the disease.

Terrence explains that pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive, life-threatening lung disease and almost three-quarters of patients have a severe form by the time they are diagnosed. PH is often misdiagnosed as asthma but an accurate early diagnosis is key to a successful treatment plan which will extend and improve the lives of those living with the condition.

    My daughter died at 17 from primary pulmonary Hypertension 36 years ago.Just recently I was told I have it. The left side of my heart is enlarged and the right side is dialated so I pretty much know where I stand.
