I recently read an article about how a small group was given instructions to increase Omega 3 fatty acids in their diets for improving lung function.

What are Omega 3 fatty acids, and what foods provide Omega 3’s? Check out this link to learn more about this for the National Institute of Health.

But this improves cell function, which could enhance heart and lung functions in those with PH. Do you find that you increased Omega 3 fatty acid-rich foods after a PH diagnosis? Was this a recommendation of your PH team, a nutritionist, or a dietician?

What are some of your favorite Omega 3 rich foods? Do you think these foods can improve respiratory disease?
