Cells send signals that promote PH progression
A study showed signalling events, or “crosstalk,” between smooth muscle and other cells in the lungs’ vasculature that promote the progression of pulmonary hypertension. Knowing more about this mechanism may lead to new treatments, especially ones targeting early stages of the disease.
