If y’all missed it, our very own OG moderator, Brittany Foster, wrote this vulnerable yet important column about sex.

Britt crushed it! It’s vulnerable, open, honest, and most importantly, dives into a taboo topic in a tasteful way that encourages ongoing dialogue. There can be a lot of shame and shyness around sex. I love that Britt is open about how she has learned to connect her mind and body and communicate when searching for pleasure. These things are essential when we talk about disability and sex–when this hunt for pleasure can lead to pain and discomfort.

If you missed it, read it here, and let’s talk about this. Do you feel that sex continues to be a taboo topic with the rare disease /disability community?
