The first few weeks of school is an adjustment period for all students, but I believe even more so for those who have PH. The excitement of returning to school, having to wake up early, concentrate on classes, complete homework and all the in-between’s of adjusting to a new school year can exhaust them. I know my son’s PH symptoms would often increase in September and challenge the start of the school year.
How is your child handling school so far? Have they experienced an increase in PH issues or are they managing well? If your child is several weeks into the school year, are they starting to adjust or are they struggling? Share with us what you are experiencing or any tips that you may have to help the struggling PH student.
