Have You Ever Asked To Switch Hospital Rooms?
There were a number of times when my son had PH that he had to share a hospital room or short stay unit with another patient. Most of the time it wasn’t an issue except for an occasional crying baby or tv being too loud. We could deal with those issues but our biggest concern was always what the other patient was there for. Do they have something contagious?
Personally we never experienced a patient who we feared exposure to but we have known others who have and had to ask to switch rooms. Have you ever had an experience like this? Did you speak up and ask to switch rooms and were you able to?
