Have You Ever Lost A Job Due to PH?
I have a friend who doesn’t have PH but is living with another rare disease that takes a great toll on her in many ways. Recently she lost two jobs she had been promised because the employer heard that she was in the ER and assumed she wouldn’t be able to handle the work. She wasn’t consulted and if she had been she would have explained that she was still capable and was very much relying on those jobs.
Have you ever had a similar experience and if so, how did you handle it? What were the reasons that you were let go?
