On a recent Emergency Room (ER) visit, my chest x-ray showed atelectasis in the left lobe. Despite my complaints of chest pain, I was frustrated as this issue went unaddressed during my stay.
I’m awaiting a return call from my PH team as I type for his advice.
Have you or your loved one experienced atelectasis? Please share your experiences and tips for managing.
Oh my @jenc we really do need to catch up! I had to look up Atelectasis. Is it related to or caused by a pneumothorax? I hate hearing that you have been having chest pains. My dear, you need answers! I hope you get them soon!
Hey, @colleensteele; I appreciate your concern. This week it’s some better. I can laugh without it hurting and breathe.
I thought that my recent URI with bronchitis and COVID was part of where mine originated from.
It’s been an adventurous month or so. But I’m grateful to head finally in the right direction. The pain is improved, still here, but not as intense and not 24/7.
Your love and support are always greatly appreciated, Colleen.
