What has been your greatest health challenge while navigating winter weather?
Extreme cold can knock the wind out of a healthy person and knock a PH patient into the hospital. Bad weather might hinder a PHer’s ability to safely make their way to appointments and/or a pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Symptoms and side effects such as shortness of breath, nose bleeds, and achy joints can increase as temperatures drop.
What weather-related health issues would you add to this list? Do you have any tips or tricks for managing your health in the winter?
