    Hey @Colleen , I hope and pray you are doing better with self-care after writing this informative column. You were so vulnerable here and brave by acknowledging you are dealing with caregiver burnout. That in itself is a step in the right direction. Caregiving is the toughest job ever, and caregiver burnout is more common than most realize.

    Hopefully by now you have taken the social worker’s advice and found some mnuch needed support for you. Also, taking time for yourself and doing those little things like a mani/pedi can make you feel betterr while also offering a much needed break, away from caregiving at that moment.

    It sounds like you are using things like your instant pot or slow cooker to have nutritions food when you are so busy. How’s your water intake been?

    Thanks for taking the time and sharing so much with others to remind them they are not alone if they find themselves with caregiving burnout.
