Living with a chronic disease such as pulmonary hypertension or transplant can cause a variety of stressors. These stressors can range from worrying about the constant change in the status of your health, an instability of normalcy, or just the fear of losing your life to the disease.

I am currently 11 years post-transplant after living with PH for 6 years. I know all too well how living with a chronic disease can not only greatly influence the way that you live, but even promote fear in that daily way of living as well.

What are some ways that living with a chronic disease has impacted your daily way of living? Are there any methods that you have found to remind yourself to continue to live your life to its fullest?

While our chronic diseases may leave a lasting impact on our lives, what are some ways you try to ensure it doesn’t affect you most days?
