Remembering Charity Tillemann-Dick
I am shocked and heartbroken to learn that Charity Sunshine Tillemann-Dick passed away this morning. Author, opera singer, PH patient and two-time double-lung transplant recipient, Charity represented and supported our community. Charity passed away peacefully with her husband, mother, and siblings at her side and sunshine on her face.

In January 2018, I was lucky to meet Charity at a book signing in San Francisco. Her energy and enthusiasm filled the room to bursting! Have you read Charity’s book? The Encore: A Memoir in Three Acts chronicles her remarkable journey with through pulmonary hypertension, lung transplantation, and cancer. Her legacy will continue to inspire us all.

I am so speechless for your loss and the loss of an advocate for the transplant and PH community. She seems like such a wonderful person and so full of life and love for what she did ! So heart shattering to hear about the passing of those who have made an impact in our lives. Hugs and thoughts are with her family and friends and with you Kathleen!
