• Tips on Hiring a Caregiver

There are times and situations when a caregiver might be needed who is not a family member or friend. My son has had a number of visiting nurses over the years and even though I was present at all times, I made it a point to ask questions and get to know the person I was trusting to help keep him safe and well. Life situations might require a family to hire a caregiver for a loved one when they are “not” able to be there. Do you have any experience with this and if so, how did you go about hiring that perfect someone? I found this article that suggests 25 interview questions when hiring a caregiver. It was compiled for those seeking help for their elderly parents but I think there are many excellent questions offered that would benefit PH families looking for assistance in caring for their loved one. Pulmonary Hypertension is unique so obviously there would be more related questions that you would want to add to this list. What would some of the important questions be?
