KeymasterWe have had so many new members join our PH family over the last few weeks. Watching our PHamily grow is amazing. I hope that you all have found some support by being here. Some new members like to read first before posting; that is OK, too. We are here to help and support you through such a challenging journey.
This week, help me welcome @tkaymorris, @tkaymorris, @barbra, @pte1941, @cherylh, @rafi, @shanemccomic, @beverleyzinn, @tammac816, @txkat, and @lucy218. I hope that I did not forget anyone. If you have not yet, please introduce yourself a little. Here are a few suggestions to help get you started.
Your name and location?
Are you a patient or caregiver?
How long ago were you diagnosed with PH?
What PH medications are you currently on?
Do you have any questions for our members? We look forward to learning more about your PH journeys. If y’all have any questions about the PH forums, please reach out to me or @colleensteele.

ParticipantHello- my name is Patrick Martin and I have been diagnosed with PH about 3 months ago. Other than a water pill, I am not on any meds. at this point. I had a sleep study last week and waiting for the results.
My right side of my heart is severely enlarged and my estimated pulmonary pressure via doppler was 78-83 mmHg.
I am constantly exhausted and cannot work.
Does anybody have words of wisdom/experience in filing for SSDI?
Thank you!!

Keymaster@pmartin4595gmail-com welcome to the forums. I’m happy to see you jump right in to share and ask a question.
I’m a bit surprised that you are only on a water pill. Are you seeing a PH specialist? If not, I highly recommend getting established with one.
Your question about SSDI is a good one. I’m going to start a topic about it in our sub-forum, “Working With PH”. I will tag you in it so you can easily find it.
