Hey, y’all, what appointments did you have this month? We hope you share your updates as we are in the last few days of February. We want to support you and celebrate any wins.
I’ll begin by saying I had a wonderful weekend. I’m sure the weather played a part, as it was sunny and in the high 60s and low 70s all weekend. On Saturday, I took a short trip to the beach to put my toes in the sand. Sunday was a recharge day.
I finally have my infusions scheduled for next week after they were pushed back due to an organizational strike. However, that doesn’t sound great since they are at a teaching hospital, where I receive all of my care.
Today, I had a great therapy session, so I’m crossing my fingers and toes that it will continue. You know how it goes with the ebbs and flows of PH.
What about you? @carol-volckmann , @ky , @Tracey , @Dawn , @ematkinson , @Verne , @Lou64 , and @Celticheart ? I wanted to tag a few members, including some of our newest ones, to see how things are going for you all this month.

Checking in @jen-cueva – Toes in the sand, sunny warm days including a recharge day!! WOW, I am so happy for you 💗! So glad to hear you will finally have your infusions 😊.<div>
It is very scary that you were unable to schedule your infusions because of strike at a major teaching hospital. I really am uncertain about the grants I have along with many folks to help with co-pays. With funds being frozen for research and care it is an uncertain world right now.
Not too much going on here – labs more labs still platelets, rbc and wbc are way down and just a week ago we both came down with an instential bug of some sort. The good news, nothing dramatic and we are slowly getting rid of it. We both were feeling quite down and sick of being sick 😫.
Looking forward to March – maybe better weather, feeling like ourselves again and get back to dealing my bloating (absolutely nothing seems to work) and Dick’s balance issues.
I’ll be meeting with my Pulmonologist and maybe my Gastroenterologist, Rheumatologist and, oh yes, the dentist.
Take care everyone I hope 🙏 that this coming month will see more sunshine to warm our souls. 😊❤️

Hi @carol-volckmann , so sorry that you and Dick have had an intestinal bug. Many here have been reporting that it is part of the flu. Whatever it is, I’m grateful; it’s getting better. 😊
Like you and Dick, Manny and I were chatting last night about how sick we’ve been this last several months. It’s either one or the other of us or both at once. However, we’re hoping and praying that we can enjoy better days ahead like you both. Both of us can have better days ahead.
You know those low blood levels are most likely draining you and making you more susceptible to these bugs. Hopefully, March will bring better days, sunshine, and smiles. 🌞
Next week, on the 5th, I’ll go that afternoon for the first infusion.🤞 It’s worrisome with everything happening, and our futures are in the air. More on that in my upcoming column!
Take care of each other and feel better soon, my PHriends!
