In this video from PHA Canada shared in 2015, PH counsellor Alyson Quinn conducts a webinar where she talks about the “balancing grid.”

What’s it like to live with pulmonary arterial hypertension?

Quinn asks pulmonary hypertension patients to complete a balancing grid where they will discover if they have enough balance in their lives. She asks people to compare how much time they spend with family, friends, and alone, how much time they spend on spiritual activities, how productive their work day is and how much time they spend doing things for other people.

By completing the grid, PH patients will be able to see how they spend their time and if they feel their lives are balanced enough. This will allow them to see where they can make changes to enjoy a better quality of life.
