Many patients wait for new lungs for months, even years. They could feel that it will never be their turn on that seemingly endless waiting list. When it finally comes it’s a magical moment, a new breath of life, a gulp of fresh air. Unfortunately, transplant patients don’t usually get to meet their donors. But what if they could? What would they say?
